Job Description

As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead efforts to attract, hire, and retain talented people with a passion for innovation and driving change in education. By developing a pipeline of talented prospective team members, enhancing our brand, and building recruitment systems, you will play an important role helping Ellevation thrive during a period of high growth. Success means you help bring on top talent to our engineering, product, support, and sales teams who can help us scale and more effectively serve educators. Requirements
  • Manage the full life-cycle recruiting process for all positions, including recruitment strategies, interview processes, and candidate selection systems.
  • Help Ellevation to build out our Boston presence, actively network, and leverage social media to help enhance talent pipeline.
  • Conduct candidate phone screenings for role qualification and culture fit.
  • Schedule in person interviews, coordinate any travel requirements and prepare candidates with instructions to complete exercises.
  • Source, select and implement a new Applicant Tracking System.
  • Work with our development team to update company ”Careers” and ”People” pages on our website and dramatically improve our web-based messaging.
  • Build out a dashboard of key talent acquisition and retention metrics.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and other departments to develop our employer brand through social media, career fairs, networking,college recruiting, and more.
  • Coordinate the new hire on-boarding process.
  • Collaborate with Director of Talent on a variety of HR, Talent, and operations projects.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of recruitment experience in a Corporate and/or Agency environment.
  • Experience recruiting for a software company a plus. 
  • Experience putting in place creative recruiting techniques,  including utilization of social media, participating in events and and other associations, and excellent networking skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a creative and ambiguous environment.
  • Experience building a strong employment brand and being a true brand ambassador.
  • Familiarity with local, state and federal EEO/employment laws.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with individuals at all levels of seniority.  
  • Proven capacity to builds rapport and establish trust.
